Years ago, when my husband and I were newly married, hosting themed dinners was my love language. From Game of Thrones–style feasts (with goblets and honeyed crickets) to Downton Abbey-inspired picnics, I went all in. I spent weekends at thrift shops, evenings planning elaborate menus, and even sealed handmade invitations with wax stamps.
Every detail mattered—and it brought me so much joy to gather friends around a table that felt like it had stepped out of a storybook.
But as life grew fuller—with motherhood, a growing career, and a calendar that never seemed to slow down—it became harder to make the time for all that sourcing and setup. I still had the pieces. I just needed a new way to share the magic.
